Shipping Policy

This Shipping Policy sets out the terms and conditions that apply to the delivery of products purchased from continental grocery online through our website or other online ordering channels. By placing an order, you agree to the terms of this Shipping Policy.

1. Delivery Areas

We deliver only to the delivery zones displayed on our website or otherwise communicated by us from time to time. We reserve the right to cancel any order for an address outside our delivery area or where delivery is not reasonably practicable.

2. Order Acceptance and Processing

All orders are subject to acceptance and product availability. We may, at our discretion, refuse, cancel, or limit any order. Orders are processed in accordance with our stated cut-off times and delivery schedules. An order will not be deemed accepted until we have confirmed it, either expressly or by dispatch.

3. Delivery Times

Any delivery date, time, or delivery window provided by us is an estimate only. While we will use reasonable efforts to meet the requested delivery time, we do not guarantee delivery at a specific time and shall not be liable for delay caused by traffic, weather, supply issues, courier delay, system failure, public holidays, or any event beyond our reasonable control.

4. Delivery Charges

Delivery charges, minimum order values, service fees, and any applicable surcharges will be disclosed prior to checkout. We reserve the right to amend delivery fees at any time without prior notice, provided that any changes will not affect orders already accepted by us.

5. Perishable Goods

Because we supply grocery items, including fresh, chilled, and frozen products, it is your responsibility to ensure that someone is available to receive the delivery at the nominated address during the agreed delivery window. We may decline to leave perishable goods unattended where doing so would, in our opinion, create a food safety, quality, or spoilage risk.

6. Substitutions

If a product ordered by you is unavailable, we may, at our discretion, supply a reasonable substitute of similar type, quality, and value, unless you have instructed us not to do so. Where no suitable substitute is available, the unavailable item will be removed from the order and any applicable refund will be processed in accordance with our refund policy.

7. Risk and Title

Risk in the goods passes to you upon delivery to the nominated address or upon collection, as applicable. Title to the goods passes to you only once we have received full payment for the order.

8. Failed Delivery

If delivery cannot be completed due to an incorrect address, restricted access, recipient unavailability, refusal to accept delivery, or any other reason attributable to you, we may, at our discretion, attempt re-delivery or require collection. Additional delivery, handling, or storage charges may apply.

9. Inspection and Claims

You must inspect your order promptly upon delivery. Any claim for missing, damaged, spoiled, or incorrect items must be notified to us within 24 hours of delivery, unless otherwise required by law. Failure to notify us within this time may affect our ability to investigate and resolve the issue.

10. Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our delivery obligations where such failure or delay is caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, transport disruption, government action, power failure, or supply chain interruption.

11. Consumer Rights

Nothing in this Shipping Policy excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights or remedies you may have under applicable consumer protection laws that cannot lawfully be excluded.
